Receiving Drop Shipments
If you follow up a phone, fax, or internet order with a written
order, please mark the written order “Order Confirmation
Only”.
You Choose How To Order
Payment Options
Someone must be present to receive your shipment. The
trucking company will not deliver your supplies without a
signature.
Freight companies usually call before delivery. We ask for your
phone number to confirm your delivery. We will not share your
information with anyone other than the freight company.
Count the boxes before signing the delivery receipt. Please
make note of any missing cartons on the delivery receipt
before signing.
Inspect your delivery for damage. Sometimes boxes may arrive
with a few scrapes and dents, but that doesn’t always mean
the contents are damaged. If you discover damage to the
products note the delivery receipt and contact customer service
immediately so we can file a claim and expedite a replacement
order at no charge.

Our terms are Net 30 Days for schools, head starts, governmental
agencies, and businesses with previously approved credit. An
official purchase order signed by an authorized person must

Tax Exempt Institutions
Tax exempt institutions must supply a copy of their Tax
Exemption Certificate prior to ordering. Subsequent orders
should include your Tax Exempt Number listed on the
certificate.

Teacher Direct would prefer to receive orders sent via
email to orders@teacherdirect.com. When ordering by
mail or fax, please include the following: Item number,
description, quantity, catalog page number, price, and
color choice and/or size choice if applicable.

Prices are current at the time of publication but are subject to

Returns or Damaged Merchandise

If you are not completely satisfied for any reason with your
merchandise we will be happy to take it back, and replace it
or issue you a refund. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

stocked items we must receive your notice within 30 days of

Free Freight Over $98 And
Next Day Shipping
Additional catalogs may be obtained via phone or visiting
www.teacherdirect.com/catalog-request. Please provide the
teachers’ names and the total number of catalogs needed.
We will ship next day and ship it freight free if you order $98
of stock merchandise shipping to a single location within
the 48 contiguous states. Orders for stock merchandise not
reaching the free freight minimum will be charged $10. For
orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes of A.P.O., please
reach out to either customerservice@teacherdirect.com or call
us at 205-226-0830 for a freight quote. Shipping times may
vary during high volume seasons.
Factory direct shipments may take longer to ship. Please allow
2 - 6 weeks for delivery. Because these items are heavier the
cost to ship them is higher. These items, signified with a

offer and are not includable in the order total to achieve free
freight. These shipments will incur a 15% freight charge based
on the item’s selling price, minimum $58 if signified with a
blue truck, minimum $98 if signified with a black truck. ICC
ruling requires a contact name and telephone number should
the transportation company need to contact someone about
delivery to your location. Truck delivery is tailgate delivery
only and inside delivery will require an additional charge.

Items shipped directly from one of our manufacturers can be
returned within 5 days of receipt. Items signified by

resalable condition. An authorization for return is required.
Restocking fees will be charged in accordance with the original
manufacturer’s return policy, or a minimum of 15%. You will
also be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please email

authorization. Returns without an R.A. will not be accepted.
